Could someone recommend somewhere to go for vaction?

Bitsy Batsy asked:

Have 2 weeks of leave.. Don’t know where to go.

I’ve lived in England and Japan for 5+ years each (father in USAF), husband has already been to Australia. Went to Vegas for our honeymoon, I didn’t care for it.
We want to go somewhere new together.
We live in Hawaii now, so don’t want to go anywhere thats mainly beach attractions since we can do that here at home.
Moving to Georgia next year so East coast isn’t an ideal vacation zone either since we will be closer to those areas.

Do you need a passport for Canada? (His expired) What to do there?
Apart from theme parks is there much more to do in California? Any other states on West coast that we should definately visit?

What are your favorite places for vacation?

Thank you!!!

Greece. It’s just beautiful and soo much fun. Lots of nightlife. If you go to Canada Baniff is just a beautiful place to visit. Enjoy the hot springs.

Why not try the Smokie Mountains? They are peaceful and beautiful and there is alot to see in the Tennessee, Kentucky areas. Why not try renting a cabin, just relaxing, not really doing alot. Play some family games, camp fires with pudgie pies, popcorn under the stars, family talks, just plain good times…….
we love the mountains and lakes, but we also love going to Canada…. we go almost every year…. Windsor, Sarnia, Hamilton,, Niagara Falls or better yet……….why do you think you have to GO some place….. like I suggested try being together…..quiet times……. best there is……… and the mountains would be a good place to do that

Hmm, Grand Canyon in Arizona I think? Maybe that? :)

Wow you are very fortunate to have traveled so much, and my first suggestion was the beach until I read that you live in Hawaii. I would have suggested the Caribbean maybe.

I think places I would love to go would be epcot center and seaworld in Florida. Probably disney world aswell. But most of all Id love to visit Austrailia to see the Steve Irwin zoo and Tiger Island aswell.

    Have a nice vacation.
