I am booking a honeymoon to Hawaii for June 2007. Is it cheaper to book separate or through a package?

Julius M asked:

I am looking for air, hotel and car together.

You usually do better by booking everything together. Check with Travelocity for deals.

    packages are always cheaper..

It’s usually cheaper to book a package as the tour operator gets discounts on the air fare, hotel and car rental then adds it all together with only one mark up.

    Booking them Together is good!
But Booking them separate is CHEAPER!

    Always works for me!

it is cheaper if you book it all together, they have great deals that way!

a Package deal will be your best bet, only because you will get air, hotel, and sometimes a car. Those features can usually be upgraded as well. One downside, you are traveling at the peak of high season, so packages for that time will not be as cheap or as available as they are in the off season (late Sept to mid mar).

Check the Sunday papers of San Francisco and LA, since they are on the coast, they often advertise excellent deals.

Have fun, congrats on your marriage, and aloha!

i think through a package is better, at least you’ll be more organised and know what you’re doing.
    have a nice trip ;-)

Typically packages are cheaper. But since you’re booking so far in advance, it doesn’t hurt to check it all out. Give yourself time & keep track of what sites you’ve searched. Good luck.
