What is the best time to take photos on the windward side in Hawaii?

I am trying to decide what time to have a wedding on the beach in Kailua. I want to avoid the harsh sunlight in July, but I’m not sure what time would be best to avoid the shadows in pictures? Thanks!
Because of time issues, we are considering having it in the morning, but what would be the ‘best’ time in the morning to get the good shots?

    leave it to a professional unless you want these people to be disapointed, off camera flash is the common technique to remove shadows – use as a back light,

    2 flashes one as key (for nose shadows etc), one as back light

    Hi:

    I live in waimanalo and my husband is a photographer. I think the best time to take your photos will be right before sundown (from 4:30 to 5:30). The light will be soft and dreamy, just perfect for a wedding.

    I live in Kailua-Kona. So maybe I’ll see you… next year?
    But there are many beaches. ^^;
