What’s better Paradise Cove or Germaine’s? Why?

I’m planning a real, real casual wedding in Hawaii. Most of the guests (95%) are from the mainland (I currently live on the mainland too…lived in hawaii long, long ago). I’m planning on having my “reception” at a luau. That being said, if you had never been to Hawaii before (most of my guests haven’t) which would you enjoy more? I was at Paradise Cove a couple years ago and know what to expect there, but I’ve never been to Germaine’s.

ALOHA…I went to the 2nd BEST luau I have ever been to last Sunday Night at “The Waikoloa Marriott” on The Big Island…The Food was Wonderful…The Kalua Pig was the BEST I have ever tasted except for one Private Luau I went to Several years ago..but for a Public Luau it Was Excellent…4 Star in my opinion and the Entertainment was easily 5 Star…Great Location (perfect for watching the Sun-Set) relatively small and the Drinks were even made to order and not watered down…Great Bartender…His name was Kimo…lol…This is my recommendation…A Hui Ho…

“Paradise Cove”…was just okay…Food was so-so,too many people,too crowded for my taste…nice setting.
“Germaines”…About the same as “Paradise Cove”…food here was tasteless…Too many people as well…Drinks…Terrible(when we went you were given drink coupons…I don’t lke that) But I suppose if I had to choose it would be “Paradise Cove”

I personally l ike Germains Better. Ive been there 4 times and Paradise Cove once. Let me tell you the differences. Germaines everyone has the same ticket. You just choose your seating when you get there. For a big party like yours they’ll reserve your seating for you. Give you some good seats. Paradise Cove is on a nicer beach. They got the activites for the kids like canoe rides, fake tatoos, spear throwing etc. You can also get fancy at Paradise Cove and pay to get better seating and more drinks.
The food and shows are basically the same. Hope that helps.
